Invasive Plant Council of British Columbia

Aliens Beware!ALIENS BEWARE!

January 23 (1:00pm – 10:00pm) &
January 24 (7:15am – 4:30pm)

The Third Annual Forum and AGM will begin Tuesday with three concurrent workshops focused on topics identified as high priorities for the members. Join us to find out more about managing a 'favourite' invasive, what is happening in bio-control and looking at innovative collaboration with the horticulture industry.

After the workshops, plan to 'graze' through the evening and listen to Les Merhoff, from IPANE, in Connecticut share their experiences in building success across the northeast states.

On Wednesday, speakers from across Canada and the United States will cover risk assessments, economic impacts and early detection for invasive plants and then you will get to choose technical sessions that best meet your interests. Find out what both the provincial and federal governments have planned for fighting the impact of invasive plants!
